What happens when modern design meets coastal luxury? Magic. This past October, we unveiled the Halo Pavilion at the iconic Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California—and it was nothing short of cinematic. Hosted as a collaborative FAM (familiarization) experience, the event offered a multisensory showcase of what happens when vision, design, and the perfect location align. The result? An open-air affair that redefined what it means to gather under the stars.
Setting the Scene: Where Architecture Becomes Atmosphere
Imagine stepping onto a lush coastal lawn as the golden hour casts a warm, flattering light. At the center of it all stands the Halo Pavilion—elegant, sculptural, and unlike anything else. Its modular framework, inspired by minimalist architecture and engineered by Hensley Event Resources, offers a fresh take on outdoor structure design.
The Pavilion’s neutral palette complements its surroundings while drawing eyes upward to a softly arched canopy, outfitted with translucent fabric panels and brass lighting accents. Whether at sunset or under a deep navy sky, it holds space like a modern-day temple of celebration—elevated, calming, unforgettable.
With modular widths of 3 to 5 meters and customizable heights, the Halo Pavilion adapts beautifully to a variety of event sizes and styles. Its seamless integration with the Grace Pavilion Collection means event designers have a flexible canvas to paint their vision on.
Design in Harmony: A Masterclass in Collaboration
This wasn’t just about showcasing a structure. It was a full-circle design moment, woven together by a dream team of partners who brought their A-game. Siloh Floral created a soft, romantic floral story using pale blush and rust-toned florals arranged in an effortlessly modern, garden-style. Ceramic vessels dotted the center of the long dinner table, creating a lush, fragrant runner that added height and movement to the tablescape.
Casa de Perrin’s tabletop design was all texture and tone—brushed metal chargers, blush-hued goblets, natural ceramic plates, and taupe linen napkins. Layered, organic, refined.
Our own contribution from Hensley Event Resources? Lounge vignettes that invited guests to lean back, sip wine, and admire the view. Natural cane-back chairs, ivory cushions, sculptural wood cocktail tables, and floral-topped side tables turned the open lawn into a series of intimate moments. These weren’t just seats—they were sanctuaries.
Furniture That Speaks: Comfort with Character
From the Brighton Ivory Cushion Chairs lining the dinner table to the cozy curved lounges in the pre-dinner mingling area, every element of this event whispered relaxation, elegance, and intentionality. Soft, low lighting and a surrounding grid of lanterns added to the ambiance, while also guiding guests through the experience—from welcome drinks to the final toast.
And of course, the Pavilion did more than protect from the elements—it defined the event space. It created intimacy without confinement, drama without obstruction, and functionality without sacrificing beauty.
From Dusk to Dark: The Event Pavilion’s Built-In Drama
As day gave way to night, the transformation was seamless and striking. The sky deepened from soft lilac to inky blue, while the Pavilion glowed softly from within. Strategic uplighting and suspended glass pendant lights created a warm halo effect—yes, fittingly on-brand.
The flicker of candlelight across the tables mirrored the rhythm of live acoustic music, performed by an Elan Artists musician. With every note, the event shifted deeper into enchantment. People leaned in closer, conversations became quieter and more meaningful, and phones disappeared—replaced by real connection.
This is what the Halo Pavilion offers: a built-in narrative arc. A literal structure for storytelling.

A New Classic for the Modern Event Landscape
The best structures don’t just provide shelter. They hold space. They elevate it. They shape emotion, influence movement, and support everything from intimate moments to large-scale celebrations.
The Halo Pavilion isn’t just a pretty face—it’s designed for flexibility, customization, and impact. Available in multiple widths and heights, and painted in a soft bone shade with optional fabric customization, it’s your go-to architectural piece for everything from beachfront weddings to corporate galas.
This launch proved that the Pavilion isn’t just versatile—it’s transformational. It adapts to natural backdrops and curated designs alike, becoming both centerpiece and canvas in one stroke.
The Power of Partnership: Collaboration in Motion
None of this would have been possible without a team of incredible creatives and vendors, each of whom brought their vision, precision, and passion to the table (literally).
