Some weddings are remembered for their beauty. Others are remembered for their complexity, creativity, and the collaboration required to make the impossible feel effortless. This Beaulieu Garden wedding was both.

Set in the heart of Napa Valley, the celebration brought together a remarkable creative team to transform one of the venue’s most iconic spaces into an immersive architectural experience, anchored by Hensley Event Resources’ wedding structure rentals, including their signature Conservatory Structure, extensive custom fabrication, and a carefully curated selection of luxury rentals.

This event marks a powerful way to open 2026: with innovation, trust, and execution at the highest level.

Designing Around the Impossible: Wedding Structure Rentals Installed Over Water

Beaulieu Garden is known for its natural beauty, mature trees, and historic charm, but it also presents unique technical challenges. For this wedding, the design vision called for a full Conservatory Structure, one of Hensley Event Resources’ most advanced wedding structure rentals, to be installed directly over the venue’s pool.

Engineering First, Beauty Second

To make this possible, Hensley Event Resources engineered and installed a custom pool-covering substructure, creating a safe, level foundation capable of supporting:

  • The full Conservatory Structure

  • Dining layouts

  • Dance floor

  • Stage installation

  • Guest circulation

This type of installation requires advanced planning, structural expertise, and flawless on-site execution. It’s not simply tenting, it’s temporary architecture delivered through highly engineered wedding structure rentals.

Once complete, the pool disappeared entirely, replaced by a breathtaking glass structure that felt permanent, intentional, and seamlessly integrated into the venue.

The Conservatory Structure: Transparency, Scale, and Elegance

The Conservatory Structure served as the architectural centerpiece of the celebration and exemplified what is possible through luxury wedding structure rentals when design and engineering work in harmony.

With its clean steel framing and transparent roof and walls, the structure allowed Beaulieu Garden’s surrounding vineyards and trees to remain visible throughout the event, bringing the outdoors in while offering full climate control and comfort.

Day to Night Transformation

  • By day, natural light flooded the space

  • By night, candlelight, chandeliers, and uplighting transformed the interior into a glowing jewel set within the landscape

From every angle, ground level or aerial, the structure felt expansive yet intimate, refined yet bold.

A Longstanding Creative Partnership: JBD Events x Hensley

This project was especially meaningful due to the long-term relationship between JBD Events and Hensley Event Resources.

Having collaborated on many events over the years, there is a deep level of trust, communication, and shared standards. For this wedding, the planner’s vision was ambitious, and Hensley delivered with precision.

Every detail of the Conservatory installation, layout, and flow was executed to meet and exceed expectations, reinforcing why this partnership continues year after year.

Custom Fabrication: Building the Stage and Structural Details

Beyond the Conservatory itself, Hensley provided custom fabrication for key functional and visual elements of the event.

Custom Stage Installation

The stage was designed and fabricated specifically for the band’s performance needs while aligning aesthetically with the overall design language of the space.

  • Clean lines

  • Balanced proportions

  • Integrated seamlessly into the Conservatory footprint

This ensured that entertainment felt like a natural extension of the environment—not an afterthought.

Rentals That Elevated the Guest Experience

In addition to the Conservatory installation, Hensley Event Resources provided a curated selection of luxury wedding rentals designed to complement their wedding structure rentals and enhance the overall guest experience.

Seating, Bars & Functional Elements

  • Dining chairs selected for elegance and comfort

  • Bar installations positioned to maintain flow and visibility

  • Supporting rentals that complemented pieces from Theoni Collection

Together, these elements created a cohesive, refined environment that supported both the design vision and guest experience.

Florals, Light, and Atmosphere

The design was further elevated by the extraordinary work of Kathleen Deery Design, whose floral installations added softness, movement, and romance to the structural framework of the Conservatory.

Lush arrangements, layered textures, and thoughtful placement ensured the space never felt rigid, only alive.

Lighting by Got Lights SF played a crucial role in defining the mood, enhancing the structure’s geometry while maintaining warmth and intimacy throughout the evening.

Capturing the Vision: Photography That Tells the Story

Photographer Lacie Hansen captured the event with a refined editorial eye, highlighting not only the beauty of the décor but the scale and complexity of the structure itself.

From sweeping aerial views to intimate interior moments, the imagery tells the full story of what it takes to bring a project like this to life.

A Celebration That Defines What’s Possible in 2026

This Beaulieu Garden wedding is a testament to what happens when: visionary planning, architectural expertise, trusted collaboration and flawless execution, come together.

From covering a pool to support a Conservatory installation, to fabricating custom stages and delivering refined wedding structure rentals, Hensley Event Resources played a central role in transforming a technically complex space into an unforgettable celebration.

This is not just how events are built, this is how landmark events are created.
