As the venue was perched on the rugged California coastline, we needed to create a space that felt open and connected to the landscape, yet offered the sophistication and luxury of a custom-built venue. Our collaboration resulted in what our client described as an “epic event,” and we couldn’t be more proud of the outcome.

The Conservatory, exclusive to Hensley Event Resources, served as the architectural centerpiece of this stunning wedding. Its transparent walls and ceiling allowed the natural light and fog to drift through, creating an ethereal ambiance that blurred the boundaries between the indoor event and the outdoor landscape.

One of the standout aspects of this event was the custom-built elevated sub-floor, which presented its own set of challenges. At certain points, the floor was more than 8 feet above the ground, requiring precise engineering and installation to ensure the platform was both stable and perfectly level so teh intricate metal wall fit precisely between the structure's wallpoles. Despite the complexities of the installation, our team delivered flawlessly. As the client noted, the structure looked impeccable, and the elevated platform only added to the sense of grandeur and elegance.

Inside the Conservatory, the design was minimalist yet luxurious, with careful attention to every detail. The wedding featured multiple stages with the Grace façade, which provided sleek and elegant platforms for various elements of the event, the ceremony and dinning speaches and entertainment.

The Herringbone dance floor added a subtle pattern that enhanced the visual texture of the space, while Walnut back bars provided a rich contrast to the neutral tones of the venue. Every element, from the plush lounge furniture to the chic Aruba Ivory napkins, was thoughtfully selected to harmonize with the natural setting. The collaboration between Hensley Event Resources and Lally Events resulted in a design that was understated yet stunning, reflecting the beauty of the coastline while maintaining a modern, elegant aesthetic.

The installation of the elevated sub-floor allowed us to create a perfectly level surface without disturbing the landscape, leaving the natural terrain untouched.
