Unexpected Thanksgiving

This year is unlike any we have ever faced.  And when Hensley approached me to do a Fall Thanksgiving table, I kept thinking that I wanted to do something for Thanksgiving that would cheer people up.   That it would be approachable, polished, but not too fussy.   That it would be a table that I would love to sit at, one that I could see my family gathered around.  A house filled with quiet laughter.   That it would be light, unexpected and sunny.  I went instantly with Fall colors but added an unexpected French Blue accent because I frankly love pale blues!

With weather wooden walls, velvet blue napkins, shiny pumpkin shaped place card holders, pale Squash colored runner, grey wooden farm table, lush flowers in golden harvest hues, Beige trimmed china, this table would be the welcoming anecdote that we need this year.
